Saving The Generations UK is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the most vulnerable groups of people across the globe. For years, we have been committed to providing community support, empowerment, and opportunities to those who need them most.
Our mission is to create safe spaces, holistic support systems, and empowerment programs that transform lives and communities from the United Kingdom to Africa, starting with Uganda.
Our Work in the United Kingdom
In the UK, we work closely with vulnerable individuals and communities, providing practical support, guidance, and empowerment to groups such as:
1. Refugees, Migrants, and Asylum Seekers – navigating resettlement challenges and seeking safety and stability.
2. Homeless Individuals and Rough Sleepers – providing essentials, shelter, and connections to resources.
3. Survivors of Abuse and Violence – including victims of domestic violence, sexual exploitation, and human trafficking.
4. People with Mental Health Challenges – ensuring access to mental health support, therapy, and community care.
5. Minority and Marginalized Groups – tackling discrimination, promoting equity, and fostering inclusion.
6. People Struggling with Substance Abuse or Drug Addiction – offering rehabilitation programs, counselling, and reintegration support.
7. Individuals without Access to Government Assistance – supporting those who are ineligible for
or excluded from public welfare programs.
Expanding to Africa – Starting with Uganda
Recognizing the global need, Saving The Generations UK has expanded its mission to Africa, beginning with Uganda.
We have officially registered as an international organization in Uganda and acquired land in Kabale District, where we are establishing a one-stop center to serve all vulnerable groups in the region.
This center will be a hub of transformation, providing:
Shelter and care for orphans and vulnerable children
Training and skills development for youth, young mothers, and unemployed individuals
Healthcare and wellness services for the elderly, people with disabilities, and those with chronic illnesses
Counseling and psychosocial support for survivors of abuse, conflict, and trauma
Sustainable agriculture and vocational programs to promote self-reliance
Community engagement programs to promote inclusion and resilience
Our Target Beneficiaries in Africa
Our Uganda program will focus on:
Orphans and vulnerable children
Young mothers and single parents
The elderly without family support
People with disabilities
Refugees and displaced persons
Families living in extreme poverty
Survivors of violence and trafficking
Communities affected by climate change and food insecurity.
Progress and Next Steps
The project plans have been fully approved, and the land in Kabale is ready for construction. The onestop center will include:
Residential facilities for children and vulnerable families
Training and education blocks for skills development
Healthcare units for basic and chronic care needs
Community halls and spaces for counseling, group programs, and mentorship
Agricultural demonstration farms for sustainable food production and training

Our comprehensive program, “Empowering Uganda’s Vulnerable Populations through Integrated Support Services,” aims to address critical challenges faced by orphans, vulnerable children, youth, women, refugees, migrants, drug-affected individuals, marginalized groups, and those left behind by existing systems.
With a budget of USD $5.6 million (£4.87 million) over a 36-month implementation period, this project will focus on western, Eastern, and Northern Uganda, where the needs are most urgent. It will be implemented by Saving The Generations UK-Uganda (NGO Registration No. INTR164425788NB) in collaboration with our UK branch (STGUK head office), leveraging strategic partnerships, expertise, and community-driven approaches to ensure sustainable impact.
This initiative goes beyond aid, it is about empowerment and transformation through:
Establishing safe spaces and orphanages.
Providing education, skills development, and psychosocial support.
Addressing healthcare needs, including mental health and rehabilitation.
Promoting economic empowerment for families and communities.
Creating inclusive systems to support the marginalized.
